That's right! Friday marks the beginning of the third trimester! I have to apologize to all of you out there that keep looking at the blog for updates and there hasn't been any for a few weeks. Tim and I have been extremely busy moving into our new home. Tim checked into his new command at Naval Station Mayport the first week in February and has been busy, busy busy with that ever since.
I was able to get things set up at the Naval Hospital and be seen by my new OB doctor last week. We have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday (Feb. 27th) and a follow-up appointment with my OB doctor Friday (March 2nd). After these appointments I should be able to give you a full detailed update and hopefully some pictures of our beautiful daughter.
With as active as I have been setting up the house I don't necessarily feel Sarah's movements until the end of the day or in the morning when I am sitting down or trying to sleep. I absolutely love feeling her kicks, hits and jabs to the bladder...especially at 4:30 AM! There is something special about feeling life growing inside of you. Tim always refers back to the dancing alien from Space Balls that jumps out of a man and starts singing and dancing on the diner counter. He is such a goof ball. But seriously we have been so blessed by God this year and continue to give Him all the glory in making this miracle, this dream come true for our family.

UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!
So much has happened in the last two weeks! We had a house full of family visiting for Tim's winging! Praise the Lord! What a great achievement for Tim. We are all so proud of him and his dedication to his career in the U.S. Navy.
Shortly after the wining ceremony, family started to go home. Tim's parents stayed a little longer and went with us to Jacksonville to look at houses with our realtor.
Monday Jan. 16th: Tim Jr. and Tim Sr. drove the truck with full load in our 24 foot car hauler trailer to put half our house in storage until we find a place to live. Margie and I drove the Jetta ahead of the boys. For us girls it was a 5 1/2 hour trip but because the boys drove "The Beast" - 1983 Dodge Ram, it took them almost 7 hours.
Tuesday Jan 17th: We woke up early to meet the realtor we had been working with via phone and email up until this time. He had around fifteen houses for us to look at that day! This was awesome since we only had one day to look at houses. We spent the entire day walking in, out and around houses we were interested in. Around house #12 we found the one that fit our needs, wants and demands perfectly but continued to look a a few more just in case. That night we compared our top three and made a decision to make an offer on our #1.
Wednesday Jan. 18th: Bright and early we got of took a trip to NAS Mayport where Tim will be stationed and drove around the base until it was time for us to meet our realtor at house #1. We walked through the house again looking at every detail and decided this was the one. The asking price was $245,950 and we offered $220,000. Twenty minutes later we heard back with a counter offer of $232,000 and if we would go with the builders lender instead of ours they would pay $10,000 in closing costs! Plus they said they would include putting two inch faux wood blinds in ALL the windows for us. We accepted and continued to do paperwork that day!
So here are a few pictures of the house. It was built in 2009 as a model home for Richmond America and has never been occupied and considered a new construction still! It has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a 3 car garage! 2,829 square feet and upgraded in every room!

We are packing out of the Pensacola area on February 1st and checking into a hotel for a week. As of now our closing date on the house is February 8th. We are so excited to move into our dream house!

We're Moving
We knew this day was coming and now it is here. We will be moving to the Mayport/Jacksonville, Fl area where we will be stationed for at least four years. This is 5-6 hours east of Pensacola, Fl where we are currently stationed. Mayport is actually where Tim will be stationed and trained on the SH-60B. Later the Bravo model of the SH-60 will transition to the Romeo, so somewhere in those four years Tim will receive more training on the new model of helicopter.
As I sit here writing this at 4AM I look up to see my house torn apart and boxes surrounding me. It is so nice to finally know where and when we are moving instead of just packing, in hopes that we wont need what is in boxes before we leave. As for a time frame, we have until the first week in February to pack up, buy a house and move east.
Tim's parents arrived yesterday for Tim's Wining Ceremony on Friday January 13th! More family will be arriving later in the week too.
We feel so blessed to have so much love and support from our family and give God all the praise and glory for all the things He has given us.
Today I am 21 weeks 5 days pregnant! Still not feeling much of Sarah's movements yet but she is growing and with that so am I! One easy part of packing was putting all my clothes that don't fit me anymore away, I know I wont be needing them for awhile. Last week we had an ultrasound and based off the measurements of her head the doctor estimated her weighing about 14oz. By now I am sure she is a pound. During the ultrasound the doctor noticed that one of Sarah's kidneys was slightly larger than it should be. This will be monitored closely but no need to worry too much at this time. Her other kidney is functioning properly and is measuring at just the right size.
Well now I am faced with the question of, should I to go back to bed for an hour or two or just stay up and work on cleaning up my moving mess...

18 Weeks!!
Time has gone by so fast! I can't believe that we are almost halfway through this pregnancy. The count down for the gender reveal is getting close, only nine more days! We thought since Christmas is right around the corner we would reveal the gender to all our friends and family at the same time Christmas Day! What a great gift! By email and/or blog you will be able to find out if Baby Palmer is a boy or girl!
Currently Baby Palmer is the size of a sweet potato, approximately 5.6 inches long from head to rump and 6.7 ounces. Baby is growing rapidly, twisting, rolling, punching and kicking too! I have seen on previous ultrasounds that Baby Palmer is a mover but I have not yet felt any of his/her movements. I would imagine that it wont be too much longer before I can feel everything going on inside of me.
Tim has officially completed his last flight here at this training command! We are set for the January 13th Winging Ceremony and will be moving shortly there after. Where???? We still don't know! Hopefully we will find out the first week in January.
Last night was the HT-8 (Tim's Squadron) Christmas Party. It was a nice night to dress up, get out of the house and enjoy the evening with friends. They were giving away some awesome prizes including a 55 inch and 60 inch flat screen TV, Kindle Fires, iPods, and $$$. We walked away with two squadron glasses that they provided for everyone attending.

Baby Shower
The ladies from our Sunday School class put on a baby shower for me and another first time mom-to-be, Catherine. Getting involved with this group at church is truly a blessing. Tim and I have made some wonderful friends and will be sad to leave them soon. It is alway sad to leave our church friends because we get so close to them and they become family to us.
The shower was so sweet. Everyone brought heavy hors d'oeuvres to snack on all night and an adorable cake. Since we don't know if we are having a boy or a girl yet they had the baker put Baby Palmer on the cake. Catherine is having a boy and they are naming him Christian.
It was so nice to have the love, support and prayers of these lovely ladies. Everyone that came to the shower had to draw a piece of paper that asked them to specifically pray for Catherine and I and our pregnancies. Some of the prayers were: comfortable pregnancy, easy delivery and the soon to be Daddy!
Catherine and I took turns opening gifts from everyone and had so much fun looking at the cutest baby stuff.
Baby Palmer made out with some great gifts! I came home and set it all out so Daddy could see the neat things we got.
Baby Palmer got a few pieces of clothing, including a set of onesies with numbers 1 thru 12 sewn on them for a monthly photo to follow his or her growth. I love this idea and am looking forward to documenting all of Baby Palmers achievements. We got our first box of diapers and wipes! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I plan on using cloth diapers but for long outings, over night and in the beginning disposable diapers will be our closest friend. A dear friend and my P'cola Mama, gave us the softest sweetest bear and a beautiful picture frame that will be great for holding a bath time picture. Those of you in my family that work in the medical field will like this next one, hanging on the left side of the picture is a scrub and stethoscope bib for those messy moments which leads to bath time with our ducky towel set and wash clothes. The rest include cute bear slippers, two sets of mesh nibblers, teether rings, nail clippers, a giraffe cloth rattle and last but not least Baby's First Bible.
To all my friends, thank you so much. I know Baby Palmer will love all the gifts and will put them to good use.

17 Weeks
Baby and I went to the doctor this week for our 16 week check-up. Apparently at the Naval Hospital you only get to have ultrasounds routinely at your initial appointment, at your 20 Week appointment and right before you deliver to determine the position of the baby. I had to ask the corpsman if I would be getting an ultrasound because I had not had one since October and thought I was due for one. But lucky for us, the Doppler could not pick up the fetal heartbeat....kind of scary for a minute or two, so my doctor came in and did an ultrasound.
The first image we saw on the screen was a perfectly round circle. The probe was looking straight on top of our baby's head. The doctor was pretty impressed and said it was the best shaped head he has ever seen! This was a Proud Mama Moment! I can already brag that my sweet baby has the best looking head, not to mention quite a large looking head! Unfortunately, Tim was unable to attend this appointment due to his flight schedule but I was able to bring two pictures home for Daddy!
This first picture is of our baby's arm and hand. Baby was moving around a lot but got a picture of it's hand up by his OR her head.

As for things at home, Tim and I are doing great! Tim's Winging Ceremony had been scheduled for January 13th. We are looking forward to the next adventure the Navy will send us on, unfortunately we will not know where that is until shortly before the winging. Moving definitely was not on the top of my list of things to do while pregnant so we are trying to do a little preparing now so it will not be as stressful when that time does come.
As for now the ultrasound only revealed that Baby Palmer likes to move...a lot! I have yet to feel any movements but I am waiting for them to show up anytime now. Still waiting to find out if it is a boy or a girl. At the very latest we should know by January 5th!
Soon to come...a preggo pic of me and a shopping spree! (since my favorite pieces of clothing no longer fit! Thank God for sweatpants!)
